Musical theatre is at the heart of David Schieber’s artistic work—as a living interplay of music and text through which stories can unfold. In his roles as Musical Director, Orchestrator, and Rehearsal Pianist, he combines technical precision with a keen sense for dramatic flow. In addition, he works as a Sound and Lighting Designer, approaching musical and technical design consistently as a unified artistic concept. As an educator, he mentors singers in accompaniment, song interpretation, and choir and ensemble, fostering musical independence and expressive depth. Through composing his own musicals, David Schieber continually expands his artistic perspective with a personal, creative voice.

As a Teacher, he inspires and mentors the next generation of performers. With expertise and empathy, he helps students grow artistically and personally, building strong technique, confidence, and a lifelong passion for musical theatre. He taught not only in several higher-education programmes in the field of musical theatre, but also supported full-scale musical productions over many years as part of emerging artist development. In addition to supporting productions at the Music and Arts Private University, he has been teaching song interpretation, music theory, ensemble, and choir at the Performing Academy and later at the New Academy. For teatro, he served as musical director for various summer productions and also regularly contributed to workshops for children and young adults.
